My Mom Memories

MyMomMemories.com is a site for moms (and dads) to save and share the things their kids say. The client came to us with a need to build a social application — quickly, as we were taking over from another developer. This web application is built on Django, with a little help from the Pinax project. The site includes many features that are similar to Facebook or Twitter type functions, incorporating plenty of Ajax and jQuery. Of particular note is the Twitter-style infinite scrolling. Members create an account, enter their children by name and birthdate, and begin sharing. All posts can be shared directly to Facebook as well.
